I AM VISIONARY

I am a soldier advancing slowly,
Slowly, slowly and carefully
To the camp of my greatest enemy, Ignorance.

My eyes are wide open
My ears stand straight up
Alert, ready to watch, listen and act against
My enemy’s troops as they approach.

Uuuuu! Now I see them Ganja, the brigadier
Premarital sex, the lieutenant general
And laziness the major general,
Oh! Oh! They are advancing in pursuit of me
Right, I will face them head on and I will defeat them.

When they fire phooo! I will tell them point blank,
No, brigadier ganja you can’t hook me into your camp
Lieutenant premarital sex, you are the sweetest poison
I’ve aver come across
I can’t show a teeth to your silly offer
General laziness, yes people enjoy your games
But you offer no better rewards.

Now, get lost before I pull my trigger,
Run! Out of my sight
My mind is set on a mission
That is the completion of my vision
Which in my mind I hold,
And so carefully like an egg,
With my palms I embrace.

Forward and not backward
Is the direction I face,
For I know, a bright future
Awaits me at the end of the race
But education is the only avenue.
What other vision surpasses this?
And that’s why I shout
I’m visionary! I’m visionary!
